DSS sounds the alarm regarding schemes to incite violence across the country.

The State Department warned on Saturday that there was a conspiracy
that used several factors to foment nationwide violence that could disrupt peace, regulation, and order in the country. However, the DSS quickly warned those behind the evil charts to either abandon the conspiracy or be treated under Nigeria's legal guidelines.

The warning was made earlier in a statement provided to Vanguard through Dr. Vanguard, DSS's Nigerian public relations officer. Peter Afnanya. The announcement read: "The service is hereby warning and ordering those desperate to bring about regulatory collapse to refrain from doing so. "It is clear that some injured politicians have already benefited from this criminal procedure. This is the beauty of democracy. It is strongly believed that this method promotes peace and security. All and sundry have to cherish it. “Be that as it may, the DSS will not tolerate a state of affairs the place men and women and/or companies take legal guidelines into their fingers and champion anarchy. “Those peddling faux news, hate speech and all varieties of false narratives as basis to ignite violence or pit the humans against the existing or incoming administrations, at the Federal, State and Parliamentary levels, stop forthwith. “Those inciting violence have nothing to gain as doing so will not only eat them but also the innocent. It is in any other case worrying to see respected personalities use their structures to mislead or incite citizens. This, to say the least, does no longer augur well for peaceful coexistence and accepted order.“Therefore, the Service will continue to take quintessential measures to checkmate these factors who do not desire the country well. “This is to make sure that a conducive environment is furnished for citizens and residents to pursue their legit businesses. A sew-in time, they say, saves nine. Let all be guided,” Afunanya warned.
